The first-year seminar (FYS) is the foundation for your success in college. FYS students explore academic, career, and co-curricular opportunities at IU Indianapolis while gaining important skills for a successful college journey.

The first-year seminar provides semester-long support from faculty, advisors and student mentors who are dedicated to helping students achieve their goals.
